Expectations
Be Respectful
Direct policies- Observe all school/district policies including Morehead Personal Appearance Code, absence policies, make up work, etc.
- Respect self: take pride in yourself and your work
- Respect others: be polite, keep your hands and feet to yourself, be supportive, be quiet and listen while others are speaking
- Respect property: no food or drinks in the classroom. Keep your area clean; do not write on desks, walls, or books.
- Come to class with paper, pencil, homework, and any other required materials
- Complete all assignments
- Be in your seat before the bell rings and immediately start on bell work
- Make efficient use of class time, raise your hand and wait to be recognized; follow directions the first time they are given, no profanity, and no yelling. I dismiss the students- not the bell.

- Class work/ Homework: All math homework is to be done in PENCIL ONLY, unless otherwise specified by the teacher. Ten points will be deducted for homework done in pen. All work will be turned in on a timely manner; ten points will be deducted every day that an assignment is late. In order to be successful in math class, students will need to turn in work on a timely manner, show all work and practice good study habits.
- Interactive Student Notebook (ISN): ISN will be graded every Friday. Students are required to keep their ISN organized with proper materials such as notes, vocabulary, assignments, and student workbook assignments. Furthermore, students are required to bring their ISN to class on a daily basis.
- Assessments: Assessments will be given as directed by the district, usually after each unit/topic covered. Students are responsible for studying the current material.
- Absences: It is the student’s responsibility to report to the teacher for any make-up work and/or assessments missed because of an excused absence.
- Grading System: All assignments, ISN, and assessments are weighted equally (100pts). Special projects will vary in weight depending on content to be assessed.
